PenguinM is proud to have participated in an exposition of international art, which was displayed on Times Square in December 2023! "Colour Whale" was featured as a 1 metre x 1 metre square on a large electronic billboard.
Toronto North York General Hospitals Cancer Centre
In 2018 PenguinM donated these pieces to "ArtWorks for Cancer" - a non-profit organization that takes donated paintings, sculptures and photographs and puts them up in cancer wards. The Founder likes to think of the art as "a weapon against the suffering of cancer".
Art from the Unknown
In 2021 PenguinM was selected as one of 14 Featured Artists in the 15th Annual Art From the Unknown event. AFTU provides a unique opportunity for artists from across Alberta to showcase their work. My work was showcased during the event in November across social media, along with my own unique page in the event's online gallery. Their Facebook page resulted in over 1,000 Likes for Colour Whale!
